TechConnectr’s Global Privacy Practices

TechConnectr is a global business and as one, will store and process the information we collect or process in the United States in accordance with this Privacy Policy (our sub-processors may store and process data outside the United States, the UK and the EEA).  Notwithstanding the previous, TechConnectr, also understands that different regions and countries around the world have different privacy expectations.  TechConnectr takes measures to ensure that any data transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that your personal information remains protected to the standards described in this Privacy Policy. 

Where applicable law requires us to ensure that an international data transfer is governed by a data transfer mechanism, we use one or more of the approved mechanisms, e.g.: EU Standard Contractual Clauses with a data recipient outside the EEA or the UK, or verification that the recipient has implemented Binding Corporate Rules.

However, it’s important to note that the security of information you transmit to TechConnectr or place on the website cannot be guaranteed, and you do so at your own risk. Despite our safeguards, there is always a risk that such information could be accessed, altered, disclosed, or compromised. Personal information may also be shared with data processors outside TechConnectr, but they will only act according to our instructions to provide necessary services.

Children’s Privacy:

TechConnectr is fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) and is committed to safeguarding the privacy of young children to the best of our ability. Therefore, we do not intentionally collect or retain any information via our website from individuals under the age of thirteen (13). Our website content is not directed toward individuals under the age of thirteen (13). In the event that a minor provides such information, and we inadvertently collect it, we will promptly take the necessary actions to delete this information.
